GHOGAD A PLACE OF ETERNAL PEACE

GHOGAD A PLACE OF ETERNAL PEACE

For last one year I have learned about the place about Ghogad from my friend Shantanu during our visit to Vedavyas. It is really a coincidence that we had gone to Vedavyas the last Sunday following the last Monday of Sharvan. It was obvious that last day will have more crowd and I got an opportunity to visit the Famous Lord Shiva temple in the vicinity of Rourkela and near to Kansbahal. I have learned that here Lord appeared as Soyumbhu. I have taken photographs of this Temple(s) for the knowledge of others who never visited the spot.
It is beautiful place surrounded by rivers from both side and transcendental energy is high due to its location.

CONSERVE ECOSYSTEM

Conserve ecosystem or Perish is my Straight Message
In my childhood days we are rooted in nature and closely watch the Nature in around us with joy and play with the insects like Dragonflies, Giant Red Velvet Mites as they were our source of enjoyments and we never play with expensive toys and gadgetry. We were so close to nature that in our time during the CHITALAGI AMAVASYA my mother usually told me to throw the first CITAU PITHA  prepared in our house for the Snails, Fishes and Eel ( KochiaOdia) etc in the river as a token of gift on that auspicious occasion as this is the first festival after the Ratha Yatra which is the last festivals of Odias.
In our time we in our house use to make different PITHAS (cakes) for different occasions and we were all accustomed in it ,like Manda Pitha, Enduri pitha,Baulagudi etc. specifically meant for the Occasion; and all our Festivals are woven with some religious and scientific observations by our Sears.
The narrative is just an off line thinking how we were close to Nature in our earlier days and now a days baring a few in the metro and cosmopolitan town doing all these things as a practice. But still we can see those things in many villages.

All this description above is only a reminder and now we will come to the point.

Today we hardly see a Giant red Velvet Mite ( Sadhaba Bahu) in our fields and many of our younger generation never had seen this insect I hope. There are so many poems written on this lovely creature in Odia.
About the Mite:
King doom: Animalia

Phylum:       Arthropoda

Sub-Phylum: Chelicerata

Class :         Arachnida

Sub-Class : Acari

Order :  Trombidiformes

Super Family : Trombidioidea

Family :Trombididae

Usually the Giant Red Velvet Mite emerges out of the soil in the early rain and can only be seen for a couple of weeks and again it hide in the soil. During this time it came in contact of many harmful insects, bacterias, nematods, fungi etc. as it dwell most of its time in Soil.It also come in contact with castor beam, jimson weed and streptomyces plantenis and it survive with all those harmful creatures as it feed on these and help soil and ecosystem by working with the fungi which help for decomposition of Organic Wastes.

Recent research show that this Giant Red Velvet Mite is useful to human in a big way.

1. Th red oil of the giant Mite is used by the Locals as an aphrodisiac known as Tej in Hindi by the traditional Medicine men due to its alleged ability for sexual desire like Viagra (Indian Viagra).

2. The Oil can be used for the treatment of Paralysis.

3. This Mite secretes anti-fungal oil and mite circulatory fluid hemolymph.
this secretion allows the Giant Red Velvet Mite to survive during its stay in the soil with dirty        condition.

The Purpose of writing is an awareness campaign, live with Nature and maintain the harmony. As far as possible educate others for conservation of Natural Resources.

“Poekilocerus pictus belonging to Family Pyrogomorphinae (known for cryptic as well as bright colours hence called Gaudy Grasshoppers are also known for “Spear” shaped heads) is commonly known as Ak Grasshopper (and one of the many Painted Grasshoppers), and is one of the most colorful grasshoppers of India. The nymphs display spots of varied colours from yellow, orange to blue and green. The adults show yellow and blue striped on head and thorax, a bright red abdomen, green-yellow forewings and red hind wings which are seen only in flight. The adults grow to about 60mm and are capable of good flight.
The adults are generally seen post-monsoon and, if conditions are favorable, they swarm. The food plant for this is Calotropis sp., especially C. procera, however it is known to attack many crops (including C. gigantea – Giant Milkweed). The color in nymphs as well as adults is bright and warning and is explained due to the presence of toxic alkaloids present in Calotropis they feed on.
The eggs are laid in “pods” (each pod contains 70 – 200 eggs) during the monsoon months June to August, and the nymphs hatch around September. The nymphs are usually seen near Calotropis plants, and by October the adults are seen specifically on the food plant. I have no records of finding it in the months after monsoon, however literature says that eggs laid in the month of September to November that hatch in April – May, here the incubation period is longer than during monsoon months due to, perhaps, climatic conditions.
According to literature, the adults are also known to turn cannibalistic even in the presence of ample food – for reasons unknown!”

We are all  obsessed  with what we have been taught in our school and college days.Every time our thoughts and actions are interacting with what we have been learned, for this the subtle ideas of our mind going dormant day by day and we are visualizing things in Old Code and Conduct.
You should remember that you being Ruled by Foreign forces for 800 years, and so you are passive ?
Not at all.
You have been forced the believe that you are useless before other developed Nations by inflicting poison in the Text Books.
Who say that you have a wretched past ?
You are the children of the most Civilized Nations of the World.
Which Nation preaches
Guests are God ?
The Whole World is a Family ?
Transform yourself from the cocoon and fly.
Forget about the text books and search the truth.
Never quote Foreign Writers about everything,
they have less knowledge than you about your own place.
Good luck to all and hope for a transformation in YOU

You are just listening BULLSHIT of Global worming and depletion of ozone layer all around the World and surprisingly our students in the Schools and Colleges are making big debate and presenting models in the Science exhibitions how crucial is our ozone layer and how to get rid of the CO2 emission by not using fossil fuels and how the refrigeration gases are harmful etc.etc.
We the gullible people of the 3rd World is the worst sufferer of all such things to stop using the bare necessities of the modern time and to show our ass to the developed countries for their sins.
We just become a slave to the highly developed countries because of some moles in our system and we are proudly harping the unethical truths by poisoning the mind of our students from the early days, so they will be stooge to the system that been dictated by developed Nations.
The media is controlled by the foreign funded agencies so they will dance to the tune of the collaborator, only the source of reality you can find in internet with good reasoning.
Do you know any thing on HAARP
The real villain is the HAARP
High Frequency Active Auroral Research Programme which is tempering the Ozone Layer.
Search net and you will get your answer
